We are incredibly grateful to our Sunday School children aided by our boys from 3rd Shotts BB who today made up some 31 shoeboxes for the annual Samaritans Purse Shoebox appeal. These boxes will be sent off to boys and girls less fortunate than our children. Across Sunday School and BB, we regularly remind the children of of the ultimate gift God gave to us in Christ and the importance of taking heed of His words to love, serve and help others. It looks like the Sunday School children had a great morning learning about Moses and the parting of the red sea which reminds us of God's provision and protection for those who are His children through saving faith in Jesus. Sadly no pics of crèche this week. One of our newest adherents, Tom Hunter was thanking God today on the first anniversary of his coming to our church. This morning we gathered in for our annual harvest family service. The minister asked some of the children to hold up 7 letters and the congregation had a go at making some words from the letters. There were around a dozen words suggested including 'harvest', 'starve' and 'share'.
