The church would like to place on record it's appreciation to Jack Coffey for his contributions to church life this week.
Jack is a Bible College student in Northern Ireland but is no stranger to us in Shotts as he has assisted with summer holiday clubs in the area alongside CEF for a few years. In recent times he has come over to work alongside Rev. Phil to gain hands on experience in Pastoral Ministry.
He has been busy with preaching and teaching the Bible, helping with BB, taking part in practical meetings as well as numerous pastoral visits in a number of different contexts and much more.
Whilst we hope Jack has found his most recent visit beneficial, we as a church have been blessed and encouraged by his presence with us this week. His love for the Bible, love for God's people and love to share the Good News of the Gospel with others is infectious.
Jack has at least 5 years of study ahead of him and we're hopeful that he won't be a stranger to us and that he will continue to find Shotts to be a welcoming place where he can put into practice what he learns in the classroom.
