Tonight the boys learned about the parable of the lost sheep from Luke 15. Having lost 1 of his 100 sheep, the Shepherd lovingly goes to search for his beloved sheep who has gone astray! When he finds it he brings it home and goes to celebrate with his neighbours!
This reminds us of how our sin means we’re like a lost sheep, separated from God our shepherd who lovingly seeks for us. When we are found and put our trust in Him, the angels in Heaven celebrate and rejoice together!
Following our usual competitive, energetic and fun games, the boys made sheep cupcakes with icing, mini mallows and chocolate buttons which linked nicely with our Bible lesson!
The boys also enjoyed a fun evening of bowling on Wednesday alongside our friends from 1st Shotts GB who kindly invited us along.
